I went swimming in a sea of leaves today. All ticks and mites aside, it was pretty fun.

Sadly, I did not see Melt Banana and instead opted to fill my evening with a different sort of rock: geology. I did go through three rain forests worth of note cards, though. If only learning about anticlines could be more like this.
Finally: I can't believe I just found this. wait until he talks about the spaniel puppy he won for fifty cents and recites a monologue from The Outsiders.
I'll be in my late twenties once my wisdom teef finally surface.
I went to the dentist today. It was not as bad as I anticipated-not nearly at all. I thought I had this really awful cavity in a pretty prominent tooth, but it's actually just a receding gum line exposing the root. Oh good. Apparently a seemingly excessive amount of fluoride will fix the problem.
fixing broken jewelry
revamping old jewelry
actually wearing the contents of my closet--none of this has seen the light of day (NOTE: there are roughly 2.5 layers pictured).
attempting to make the sugar skull cherubs I painted during my bout with swine flu less...jim crow-ish.

J. Ruttle co-hosted my "playing favorites" radio show with me. Our gift to the listener: two hours of The Wedding Present. We also gave (or would have if you called in) away a ghost story written by John, two signed head shots of ourselves, DJ Danasaur-made mix tape and a song written about you by us. While we did not get any donations, we received a "heavy breather" phone call and DJ Foxtrot is still going to publish said ghost story.
